I've always wanted to pursue a career as an artist but was turned away but family influences and the coined phrase "You can't make a living as a starving artist." So I turned away from it and pursued a carrer in Archaeology but always envied my art major friends and how they pursued thier passioned no matter what. I decided to finish my Classics degree as soon as possible due to the lack of money for further schooling and now I'm back to square one. This time I want to give my inner artist a chance to shine. I find art classes and technique classes sufficating I prefer to make up my own styles and techniques and mediums and go against everything my art professors tried to teach me.
